Drew B. Pokorney, PMP is the founder and principal consultant at D Bourne. He has over 25 years of experience providing leadership and mentoring in all levels of government, business, and his own previous successful small business. Drew’s talents include initiating, planning, implementing, and managing organizations through start-up, growth, and change.
Drew’s portfolio of experience and clients include: the United States Army; the U.S. Social Security Administration; the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; the Canadian Academy of Physician Assistants; the California Department of Health Services; the California Administrative Office of the Courts; the California State Personnel Board; the California State Acupuncture Board; the California Department of Boating and Waterways; the Sacramento Superior Court; the County of Sacramento; the City of Citrus Heights; CPS Human Resource Services; and the Society of Animal Welfare Administrators.
Drew earned his MBA with an emphasis in Technology Management and his Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering. Drew holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is also a graduate of U.C. Davis’ Project Management program.

Our logo: The gentleman in the logo is Harry Bourne, the grandfather of Drew Pokorney and the namesake of the company. The logo image was taken sometime in the early 1920’s when Harry and his friend "Brick" traveled across the country in a 1921 Packard. To us, this image conveys the qualities of strong leadership, clear vision, decisive action, and professionalism; the essence of D Bourne Consulting and the foundation of the quality services we promise to provide.
Additionally, Harry’s presence serves as a constant reminder of how he lived life, treated people, conducted 
business, and instilled guiding principles in those around him. D Bourne’s mission and values are a direct reflection of the ethics, selflessness, diligence, precision, and fairness Harry Bourne demonstrated. We have set a high standard to maintain.
